What is Foreigners Law?
Foreign law is a field of law created by a state or country for foreigners entering the country. Foreigners law is generally based on the principle of reciprocity. The laws applicable to foreigners in Turkey differ according to the country of citizenship of the foreigner. The Law on Foreigners and International Protection No. 6 58 determines the procedures and principles regarding the entry, stay and exit of foreigners to Turkey, and the scope and application of the protection provided to foreigners seeking protection in Turkey.
In this law, some exceptional cases regarding the work permits of foreigners have been taken into account. It is regulated that in these exceptional cases, foreigners can obtain a work permit. The issue of foreigners acquiring real estate in Turkey is regulated by the “document law” no. 26 and some special laws, and foreigners can acquire real estate in Turkey with certain restrictions.

What Does Foreigners Law Cover?
The Aliens Act includes, for example, obtaining a residence permit, length of stay abroad, conditions for acquiring real estate, obtaining citizenship, getting married. The purpose of coming abroad is very important. People from all over the world come to work abroad. Obtaining a work permit varies by state law.
If a foreigner who comes to our country wants to become a citizen of our country, he can do it in two ways. He becomes a citizen of our country by investing in the amounts stipulated by the law, buying real estate or getting married. In other words, in order to obtain citizenship according to the laws of our country, it is necessary to either marry a citizen of that country or own property.
Investing should also be considered when owning real estate. If a foreigner living in our country is involved in a crime, he is deported or sentenced to imprisonment depending on the nature of the crime. If a foreigner pleads not guilty, he must present his claim with evidence in court. If found not guilty, the deportation will be cancelled. Citizenship events are also considered within the scope of the Aliens Act.
Who Covers Foreigners Law?
The Aliens Act covers all foreigners not related to the citizenship of a country. These persons, who are defined as foreigners, are divided into different names and statuses according to the situation they are in. Foreigners can be divided into real and legal foreigners. Real foreigners, stateless persons, beneficiaries of international protection. (refugees, conditional refugees, beneficiaries of subsidiary protection), beneficiaries of temporary protection. immigrants consist of Turkish people (privileged foreigners). It consists of foreign legal entities, foreign companies, associations and foundations.
